We have always had a great experience with this company. We have had service for 4 years now, and do not plan on switching any time soon.

I called for what I should do in my situation. Rudy, helped me and he gave me some great advice to keep me from coming across another dilemma! The fact that someone actually saved me time and saved me a headache, instead of just processing payment and leaving me in the dark( no pun intended) he told me the best way to go about my situation and Im just Thankful! I will be switching to Payless once my situation is over! Thank you Rudy!!!!

Easy sign-up. No complication with connecting via telephone a competent CSR who was able to assist and was professional. I was hesitant but it went well.

Quick and easy

Our family has had a horrible past 2 years, we lost our home in the winter storm moved back in October only to get diagnosed with cancer in November. My wife is our only income and no one would help her or work with her. I think this will be a great fit for our family.

No problem with service but I've never understood the billing or what the actual coat per kwr is. On the average 4 kwh's costs me just over $3.00. This seems very high

They neglected to mention they have a $2.99 cent per day minimum, so you're guaranteed a $90/mth bill even if you're just running a fridge and nothing else. I've had monthly bills where my average cost was 48 cents per kw. Not a good value when they advertise 16 cents/kw if you their minimum kw

I am a very cheap person when it comes to electricity- and it's all Payless Power's fault.

I have had payless power for a couple months now after switching from pogo energy. And payless power is by far the worst. They charge u $4.95 with any payment under $75.00. And deduct $1.00 every time ur balance is below 25.00. But even if my account balance was above the $25.00 they were deducting a $1.00. It is ridiculous. I am switching to a actual legit power company asap!!

This is not informed to me like there will be minimum charge every day even if dont use thats rediculous.. will you cut down or average it when I use more ? Never.. so shitty experience where as others giving complete night time free

I really don't understand how Payless power can have the nerve to have a $75 minimum on your light bill or either join their Autopay which is really crappy to your customers and you call it inflation how is that inflation you're not getting charged for anything it's not coming out of your pocket how is it inflation how are y'all getting charged

Payless power stole from my account. Service was disconnected on Jan 11 2022. I called to verify that my account would be disconnected, auto pay stopped, and my balance refunded. This was confirmed by the customer service representative. Not only was my account drafted after I was told it would not be, Im charged an early termination fee that isnt mentioned anywhere in the faq section, account info, or website. This information should be easy to find. They are intentionally withholding billing information. This is theft. Every social media platform will have this written, detailed review of Payless power. As the automated service says, calls may be recorded for training purposes, I record phone conversations to ensure scam businesses like this one are held accountable. I am still going to have to call to reiterate what I have just said and to also have my bank information promptly and completely removed since my account is still active after it was requested by me to be closed.

I have been with this company for a few years and loved them until about a month ago. I don't know what happened but service is awful now. They don't do what the say, block me from changing companies, and customer service is so rude.

You lost a long time customer because your unwilling to work with me wile I'm put of work due to covid. It's OK TXU welcomed me back.

I use to love this company years ago. Unfortunately I feel the price has dramatically increased and customer is not well trained. I have had nothing but problems this last year.

Having a pre-paid plan, we used to enjoy a discount by maintaining a minimum balance. However, starting January 2021, the discount disappeared, and the value proposition for a pre-paid plan vanished. Additionally, a minimum daily charge of $2.67 is added (I am aware of no other major electric company that implements this immoral practice). This minimum daily charge means that you will be paying a minimum of $80 per month even if you unplug everything and go away on vacation!
